LullabyeThere's nothing here that reminds me of you
Only the sun that slides to the moon
Now that you've got me sing a sweet lullabye
Board on your ship and take to the sea
Sail by the stars and don't think of me
And when you forgot me sing a sweet lullabye
Hold on, hold on
Make a sound
Make it loud
Shout it out
I can't hear you
Oh lord, take this feeling from me
And I will sleep for a year
Jeanie make way for the ends of the earth
Over the edge there can be no return
And if you love me sing a sweet lullabye | Words & music by Marijn Ophorst
Marijn Ophorst: vocals, acoustic guitar
The most recent song in the repertoire, written just a few months ago. Inspired quite a big deal by Peter Lacey, whom unfortunately too little people have heard of. Lyrics definitely aren't definite yet, I preferred to cobble something up rather than repeating verses.
